- New Grant: The National Academy of Sciences (NAS), U.S. - Egypt Science and Technology Joint Fund Cycle 22 Award , Lead PI, $325K (TTU share is $200K), Jan. 2025 to Dec. 2026, “Secure Energy Management for Integrating Renewable Energy Generators into the Smart Electrical Grid”, collaborators: Dr Tamer Abdelkader, Aim Shams University, Egypt.
- My MS student Amr El-shazly has defened his thesis successfully, 2024.
- My PhD student Islam Elgarhy pas passed his comprehensive exam, 2024.

- I received Wings up 100 Research Achievement Award, TTU, 2024. This award is given to TTU faculty members who activated at least $100K of external research grants in last academic year.
